Elementary Education
The elementary education program prepares you to teach children in kindergarten through sixth grade in self-contained classrooms. The three parts of the 125 credit-hour program are:

1. General Education (53-54 hours)
2. Teacher Education
3. Area of Concentration (15 hours)

Secondary Education
The secondary education program prepares you to teach in grades 6 through 12. Secondary educators teach in high schools, junior high schools, and middle schools. Secondary teachers prepare to teach in one or more content areas. The three parts of the 126 credit-hour program are:
