License Applications »
» Initial License – The first Kansas license
» One Year Non-Renewable License – Available to people who have
    met all licensing requirements except the tests
» Substitute License – Available to people who have completed a
    teacher education program, but do not have the other licensing
    requirements met
» Emergency Substitute License – Allows people with 60 hours of
    college credit to be hired to substitute in a school
» Adding Endorsements – Qualifies you to teach more than one
    subject
» Provisional License – Available to licensed teachers who have part
    of additional endorsement completed
» Professional License – A second level license that is maintained
    through professional development
» Renewing your License – Application available on KSDE website
