September 2009 Konza Prairie
Environmental Education Activity

A group of K-State Education students took a field trip to Konza Prairie, where docents Dean Stramel, Mike Clarke and Dru Clarke led them on a hike up Butterfly Hill Trail. The group then heard Konza's Environmental Educator Valerie Wright and her assistant Annie Baker explain how students and educators can help them do research. The group participated in a grasshopper survey, collecting and mounting samples.
